The least bad option

For transparency and my own agenda, I strongly dislike our previous government, the Social Democrats with the support of the Green Party and the tacit acceptance of the Left Party, who ruled Sweden for 8 years. At the last election, I voted for the current government.

Politics is ultimately about pitting groups against each other. Anyone who doesn't admit this is either empty-headed or willfully ignorant.

On July 1 this year, a new law change came into force. The purpose of the change in the law is to make it easier for landlords to evict seriously criminal tenants and any possible family members. Because according to statements, it will be enough for someone, including a child or teenager, in the family to be a serious criminal for the entire family to be evicted.

The goal is that families whose children and/or teenagers who are gang criminals and participate in shootings, explosions and even commit murder can be evicted so that the other residents of the area will be safe.

There have been several shootings and explosions at entrance doors between rival gangs in the residential areas where gang criminals live. A neighbor of a gang criminal has died and several others have been injured as a result of these explosions. On one occasion, two innocent children were hit by ricochets while sitting in the sandbox and playing in the early afternoon.

Opponents of the law change think it is wrong that an innocent 4-year-old should risk becoming homeless because of his or hers older gang-criminal sibling.

I highly doubt this law change will be implemented even once. No one wants to be the one to make a 4 year old homeless, instead many other 4 year olds will have to live in a war zone with an imminent risk of being hurt or even killed.
