Not so strong, yet

There is a hidden jewel in my Google Sheets, but not a strong as I had hope yet. This is because I still have more than 2/3 of my holdings at Nordnet. I have no intention to sell off these holdings.

However, after I have leveled out the holdings at Nordnet I'm going to move all future dividends to Nordea. That money combined with all future savings will make my hidden jewel stronger.

The next reconciliation can take place on the last September, before it is final at the turn of the year.

Our currency takes one for the government

In the country we live in, every year a salary revision takes place, no matter how good or bad the companies go, wages are increased each time.

There are various theories about how this is to be financed. One of the theories is that it is our currency, which since 2013 both according to the TCW and the KIX index, which must pay the bill. Our weakened currency causes our exports to go better and the boom continues.

The problem, however, is that this cannot last indefinitely. Because our government can't get the economy together in a boom, it feels unpleasant how it should go because the recession is knocking on the door.

It didn't turn out the way I wanted

Apparently I am a much worse loser than I thought and there is no such thing to "rest into shape" when it comes to golf.

I had a very rough awakening at the golf club today, and I have more lessons tomorrow. Now I'm not only worried about losing to the offspring, now I'm very worried about losing BIG. It's tough when reality strikes.

But still... It's always a competition!

I hope he can do miracle

Since we got young master Dewlar late in life, we decided that he would play golf.

Golf is an activity that young and old can play together. He hasn't been particularly fond of it until recently. Now he is so fond that he wants to go on a golf vacation. Because of the lack of time that comes with having children, I have not even held a golf club more than maybe 10 times in the last 13 years.

It is with delight mingled with terror I discovered that we are going away already in a couple of days. I have booked several private lessons throughout the weekend and I'm afraid this can only go badly.

It's always a competition!

We don't get what we pay for

The more our social welfare falls apart, despite extremely high taxes, the less willing I will be to pay taxes.

I assumed because I sold and moved about 20% of the holding to Nordea that my foreign tax would decrease significantly. At least it will not increase and stays more or less at the same level as last year. I get to focus on the positive that I get back in January 2022.

Time brings everything to those who wait.
