Small acquisitions and small dividends

Last night I acquired a modest number of VETs for my pension money, namely 18.

This morning there were 2 notifications on my screen when I woke up. The dividend from SCM and OHI had arrived. No "I-can-live-off-the-dividend", but still real money. I like all the money, small as big.

I am well aware of my shortcomings

Now has my husband's man-cold hit me. I think a man-cold is worse for a woman than for a man.😉

Tonight we will invest our pension money. The world's most perfect husband asked me which stock I am considering. I replied quote "if I am to be honest I do not know myself until I press the buy button what stock it became" unquote. My husband is lying on the floor, twisting with laughter.

Have they understood something that my generation has missed?

What has made today's young adults happy with just about nothing? Many of those who are mid-twenties still lives at home with their parents, have no savings or drive to improve their lives.

They also have no desire to work, other than minimal. When I was their age, I wanted to conquer the world. I still want to conquer the world my time is just a little more limited between work, homework, cooking etcetera.

It looks like the world's most perfect husband will be victorious from the fight between him and this man-cold.

In anticipation of upcoming dividends, I refine my documents. The document with upcoming dividends is now linked to a chart so that the comparison between calculated and actual dividends is shown in real time and not monthly. It's only 45 days left until it goes into operation but who's counting?!

Not a single dividend in sight for the next few days

It is incredible what a huge range of shares there are in the world. It becomes very clear when reading other blogs. Although we are many who invest in dividend shares, it is exciting how different we all invest.

The months that I receive dividends almost every day are the worst months for many others. It is not just what stock you invest in, but also how many shares you buy from each share. I myself am in a vaccum at the moment. On the 24th I receive the remaining 2/3 of the month's total dividends in one day.
