I see closely how the welfare system fails. Employed people in their twenties quits their full-time jobs to begin studying at the taxpayer's expense. The primary reason is not that they want to continue their education, but because they are tired of work.
The worst thing is that they know exactly how LITTLE they have to study in order to still receive study grants. This money would do much better for other vulnerable and weak people.
If the offspring becomes that way, we have failed catastrophically as parents.
