The saying, "you get what you pay for", might be an accessary for the ease to pay 1.5% yearly for an equity fund.
It is mainly lately that people has begun to talk about the sinkhole that all these charges creates in savings. When buying shares or securities, I only pay the brokerage once. It's funny how something more expensive feels more high quality and credible.
