Not only because I had to pay extra tax, I almost lost all of my ETF holdings because I had to sell them to move the money to the other account. As it became a time gap between my sales and purchases, the EU regulations came into force.
I knew when I was selling my ETF holdings that I couldn't repurchase them. I was convinced that they would have changed it within a few months.
I was VERY wrong.
