I trust me, not others

The saying, "you get what you pay for", might be an accessary for the ease to pay 1.5% yearly for an equity fund.

It is mainly lately that people has begun to talk about the sinkhole that all these charges creates in savings. When buying shares or securities, I only pay the brokerage once. It's funny how something more expensive feels more high quality and credible.

Who cares most about your money?

I trust me, for now

Eugene F. Fama, Nobel Prize winner in Economics 2013 has research that suggests that luck is involved when placing money on the stock exchange.

There are still many who invest in equity funds instead of index funds. Equity funds are traded by brokers as opposed to index funds traded by robots. There are several advantages of robots, they have no emotions, count incredibly fast, have (almost) unlimited memory etc.

I invest in securities and shares, so I have no one to blame except myself.

Ups and downs

Honestly, savings is not a thing I master 100%.

I follow our plan and save my part, but when my husband saves in addition to the established savings plan, I get annoyed. When I take into account that we do not have a prenuptial, it feels much better. To crown it all I love him to the moon and back.

I'm a winner, regardless!

Win without buying a lottery ticket

My portfolio continues to decline in value and I love it. The icing on the cake would be a large amount of unexpected money as a lottery win or the like.

Every time I have won $10.000.000 in a lottery without even buying a ticket, I always smile. Rule #1 is that in order to win in a lottery you have to buy a lot.

The experiment part IV

Since I despite migraine did not want to miss investing in the OXCL dividend, my husband helped out.

It's good thing that we know each other so well. Because even though I slept, he invested my money exactly the same as I would have done. It's almost scary how he knows me better than I know myself.

I have the world's most perfect husband.
