I can't even be up late

As parents, we think it is important that we have a relationship with the parents of our son's friends. We invited them (4 families) almost a year ago and we had a great time.

I explained that we hoped that we would get to know each other and feel that we should be able to call if there is an undesirable situation with or among the children. The children are approaching their teens and prevention is better than cure. All the parents thought this was a good idea.

Last Saturday we were invited home to one parent couple. We got home at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. What was left of Sunday when the family finally dragged out of bed was spent on the sofa. We had great fun.
