Greedy or smart, time will tell

I read somewhere that 7.5% is considered a high yield. Me and the world's most perfect husband do not invest in companies below 9% return. This means that we have an extremely high yield.

The reason for our aggressive placement is our high age. We are aware that all that goes against all advices. The older you are the safer investments is recommended because you do not have time to wait for the market to recover in the event of a downturn. We feel that because we do not have that long, we must take chances.
