I jinxed it

My hope of a more normal week was shattered quickly last week.

First, young master Dewlar has had an ingrown toenail for several years that escalated during the holiday. It ended with an emergency surgery at the end of last week.

Add to that YMD left today on his first overnight school trip ever. This will be the first time in his 12-year life he will sleep away from us without it being with his any of his grandparents. As icing on the cake it is his birthday today.

On top of all this, 3 of our companies are balancing of the books now on Saturday.
