Speaking of children, why are they the only one who says the truth?

Last week I asked the offspring if he wanted me to cook him food. His spontaneous response was NO, I wait until Dad comes home. I'm not THAT hungry. I solved the problem using Foodora. I may be a lousy cook but I am great at catering.
