Midsummer, the aftermath

Our midsummer was perfect. We took a boat out to the archipelago, saw the midsummer pole being raised and tied a midsummer wreath. Everything happened under clear blue sky with radiant sun.

As the midsummer weekend comes to an end, the insight meets me. Midsummer is a bittersweet holiday. The darkness is coming.
