What happened to common sense?

For transparency and my own agenda, I strongly dislike our previous government, the Social Democrats with the support of the Green Party and the tacit acceptance of the Left Party, who ruled Sweden for 8 years. At the last election, I voted for the current government.

Tax money MUST start being treated with respect again. I read an article last week about the acting director of correctional services at the detention center in Sollentuna, a suburb of Stockholm, Sara Lusth. Sara Lusth expressed her pride in the newly built gender-neutral changing room for the staff at the detention center.

According to Sara Lusth quote "I think there should be an opportunity for everyone to change where you feel comfortable, regardless of how you identify and how you feel in your body" unquote. When asked how much the new changing room has been used, Sara Lusth replies quote, "It's so new that I can't answer that. But I think even if it's just one person using it, it makes me happy." unquote. Building a gender-neutral changing room without a demand and solely for the purpose of virtue signaling by an Acting Director of Corrections has to be one of the absolute worst ways to use hard-working taxpayers' money.

How have we been able to go from the former social democratic social minister Gustav Moller (1884-1970) who coined one of the best expressions ever, quote "Every wasted tax penny is a theft from the people." unquote to Sara Lusth?
