More extra money

While Main Street Capital Corporation Common Stock (MAIN) announced its regular dividend for October, November and December this year, it also declared an extra dividend of ¢30 on September 27. The regular dividend for the last three months of the year was set at ¢24.5 per month, which is ¢0.5 higher than the previous months of 2024.

This extra dividend will affect the annual total. But, it is only in 2025 that the gap to 2019 will decrease, unlike now when the distance between 2023 and 2024 instead increases.

We are still awaiting word on whether Crescent Capital BDC, Inc. Common Stock (CCAP), Capital Southwest Corporation Common Stock (CSWC) and Blue Owl Capital Corporation Common Stock (OBDC) intend to also make an additional dividend in September 2024.
