You are no longer born free

The world's most perfect teenager who, since his first year of life, has paid capital tax on his endowment insurances. Provided that he does not move from Sweden, he will pay various different taxes throughout his entire life.

Take, for example, "general pension from the State". It is money deducted from all employees' gross wages every month and forwarded to the Pensions Authority for them to manage the capital until the pension is due.

Upon repayment, the capital has been renamed "general pension from the state" and taxed even if it was your own paycheck to begin with. This refund is paid once a month for the rest of your life. However, the refund is based on the paid amount.

The old saying "born free - taxed to death" does not feel so relevant anymore...
