Then a not-so-anticipated task awaited. The world's most perfect teenager and I sat down in the office to study the geometric pattern sequence. Junior has a test later this week and really needs to practice.
I have always found it easy to understand mathematics, but the tasks the 10th graders have to solve when it comes to geometric pattern sequence with the help of the Sigma sign (Ξ£) are almost incomprehensible. It's been a long time since I felt this stupid. 2 hours later "we" had solved 8 exercises out of 10.
The offspring must go to the school math helper on his lunch break today and have the last 2 exercises explained to him. With the outcome that I have to plunge into the not-so-wonderful world of math with geometric pattern sequences and (Ξ£) again tonight.
