I sent out a group text to my parents and sisters warning that the scammers may now have access to even your name to which my younger sister replied that they had called her last week.

The fraudsters seem to have changed their MO and are contacting us a little younger than the previous elderly. Instead of claiming that someone has placed an order for, for example, a sofa or mobile phone in your name, it is now about us being robbed of cryptocurrency.

If your "bank" calls you, end the call and call your bank on their official phone number to inform them of the fraud attempt.
