There might be dark times ahead
Today, Sweden's central bank lowered the policy rate by 25 basis points despite being "warned" by various central banks and credit institutions around the world. The purpose of the "warnings" is not really established. That the foreign central banks are worried that the demand for them to also lower their policy rates is increasing or that they intend to speculate in the Swedish krona could be some of the alternatives.
