A 16-year-old's logic is anything but logical

Even though we studied the geometric pattern series for more than 4 hours last night, I am as hopelessly ignorant as before. Yesterday there were 3 tasks that "we" failed to solve. Today the world's most perfect teenager will ask a peer for help with the solution of our total of 5 unsolved problems. Hopefully his friend can make him understand and help him where I fail. Tonight, no matter what Junior says, "we" will try again to solve the 5 tasks "we" failed.

According to himself, his performance in the MUN 2024 Conference yesterday was average. His commitment and motivation is almost non-existent at the moment. All he is waiting for is the feedback on his personal project. He may not proceed to Year 11 without his personal project being approved.

How he can think it makes sense to neglect the other subjects in school pending the evaluation of his personal project is beyond me.
