Our life will change significantly starting Friday this week. My parents have bought a Tesla model Y Performance which they will pick up on Friday. That the world's most untechnical dad should have an electric car will be problematic. His track record for tech gadgets isn't the best.

As an example, when my parents had bought their first CD player in the 80's and my mom was out on a girls' dinner, my dad got the idea that he should play a CD. This resulted in the CD player having to be thrown away, it was damaged beyond repair, just because he was trying to play a CD.

This year alone, he has blocked his computer 4 times and his mobile phone 3 times. It's always us he calls when he has technical issues and considering we've had our Tesla Model Y since August 2023 it's a no-brainer who he's gonna call...
