I'm tired of tax dollars being wasted

My own agenda, I am a Swedish taxpayer who is tired of the careless handling of tax money.

Sweden's aid agency SIDA works to reduce poverty in the world, on behalf of Sweden's Parliament and government. The operation is financed by Swedish tax money.

SIDA has once again been hit by a scandal. This time by a "top executive who has had a fast and successful career" within the agency. The person in question has been responsible for various projects whose budgets amounted to more than 84,250,000 dollars.

Sweden, which is one of the world's largest contributors, always sends money instead, for example Swedish products. Countries that qualify for Swedish aid are often underdeveloped dictatorships where corruption is a natural part of the culture.

Sending money to these countries is doomed to fail, something anyone with logical thinking can foresee, which everyone who works at SIDA demonstrably lacks. My personal opinion is that Sweden must reduce its aid substantially so that SIDA cannot support projects left and right, but must choose "actual" projects.
