You help the elderly

Last Friday we closed the shop for the summer, a procedure we have followed for 17 years. The reason for this is that many of the people who live in the area where the store is located have, in addition to a second residence in Sweden, often also a third residence in, for example, France. The result of this is that the area is almost "depopulated" in the summer.

Although the shop is closed, we have worked every day since then, Sunday as Monday. In addition to ongoing administrative tasks and telephone calls, we have had 2 physical meetings. Yesterday, a desperate woman called whose 92-year-old mother's toilet seat had broken and needed help. Normally we don't open the store during the summer, but when a 92-year-old person needs help, you help them. It's not about money, this costs more than what the sale brings.
