July inflation numbers

Sweden's inflation for July 2023 amounted to 6.4%, which is 0.1% lower than Sweden's central bank AKA Riksbanken's forecast.

Although inflation is still high, I am grateful that it did not exceed the different forecasts. Riksbanken's next monetary policy statement will be announced on 21 September 2023.

Hopefully, today's report can contribute to Riksbanken settling for an increase of 25 points. The number of mortgage borrowers who have loans with fixed interest rates of 1.5-2.25% to be renegotiated in October is huge.

I suffer with all these households who will have their biggest expense doubled from one month to another.
