Our store was closed during Easter, which freed us from having to be in the store. Having to meet people who actually need to fix their broken faucet or similar without having the financial resource for it is mentally exhausting. Many of them take out their frustration on store staff and as owners we consider it our job to meet them and not our staff. The current recession is much worse in this regard than the pandemic was.
