There is much to be desired when it comes to a smoother cash flow

For a long time, January, April, July and October were our best dividend months of the year. During the pandemic, a lot changed, especially our holdings.

I did not track our holdings in my Google Sheet over an 18 month period for several reasons, but mainly because a number of our holdings were liquidated when they fell to a stock price that required the company to be liquidated. During this break, the composition of the portfolio changed and instead March, June, September and December became our best months in terms of dividends.

Currently, these months deliver as much as the remaining 8 months of the year. One of the many reasons we have started looking at British American Tobacco Industries, p.l.c. Common Stock ADR (BTI) is that February, May, August and November are the company's dividend months.
