Finally someone says what many are thinking

For transparency and my own agenda, I strongly dislike our previous government, the Social Democrats with the support of the Green Party and the tacit acceptance of the Left Party, who ruled Sweden for 8 years. At the last election, I voted for the current government.

My opinion is that politics is ultimately about pitting different groups against each other. Each state and/or country has a certain amount of tax dollars each year to be spent on the residents. In democracies, the idea is that power comes from the people and that the people, through democratic elections, decide how this tax money should be distributed each year.

Sweden has one of the world's highest tax burdens. Currently, Sweden's tax burden amounts to 44% of GDP, while Switzerland, for example, only has a tax burden of 28% of GDP but considerably better welfare.

The city and municipality of Malmo governed by social democrats, which receives approximately half a billion dollars in municipal equalization system every year, spends this tax money on many things that do not belong to a municipality's core business.

Among other things, they have a pink unicorn, the most communicators in the country and now they have bought the rest of Love Park from Philadelphia.

This has now finally caused one of Stockholm's neighboring municipalities, Lidingo municipality, to react and say that Malmo's way of using the tax equalization tax is quote "a catastrophic failure" unquote.
