Let's hope for the best

Sweden's inflation rates for February 2024 were presented today. The figures were lower than what the market had expected. CPI inflation was 4.5% in February 2024, down from 5.4% in January.

According to preliminary data on the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HCPI), inflation in the euro area in February was 2.6%. In January, it was 2.8%.

This promises well for Sweden's central bank's next monetary policy announcement on March 27, 2024.
