That lifestyle worked flawlessly until 2 days after my 49th birthday when I came down with what my doctor at the time thought was BPPV. Since then I have had severe dizziness on 2 more occasions.
The last time was during our trip to Portugal last summer. My vertigo specialist first thought it was vertigo migraine, then adjusted the diagnosis to protein deficiency.
Throughout the fall and winter, I have been extra careful to eat some form of protein every day. My protein intake consists mostly of quark, eggs, beef and chicken. Last Christmas I fell back into old habits and cheated on my diet. I ate a lot of sweets and neglected the protein. It didn't take many days before I felt the dizziness creeping up.
In addition to my daily protein intake, I always drink a glass of Super Greens mixed with BCAA. I have been drinking this drink every weekday for almost 20 years and the world's most perfect teenager for more than 11 years. It was my former PT who wanted me and Junior to drink this because our intake of vegetables is non-existent.
